Olive & Edith is committed to making its website and digital experiences welcoming and usable for people with disabilities.

Accessibility is not an ornamental feature added after the garden is built. It is part of how the paths are made.

Our ongoing accessibility work includes:

• Meaningful alternative text for informative images

• Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls

• Visible focus indicators

• Sufficient color contrast

• Readable type sizes and spacing

• Labels and instructions for forms

• Captions or transcripts for meaningful audio and video

• Controls for sound, with no required autoplay

• Reduced-motion support for visitors who request it

• Descriptive link and button language

• Responsive layouts that remain usable when enlarged

• Plain-language explanations for important transactions and policies

Because Olive & Edith contains detailed artwork, garden photography, maps, botanical specimens, and atmospheric media, some visual experiences may require especially thoughtful alternatives. We will continue learning how to describe them without reducing them to generic labels.

We will acknowledge accessibility messages within 3-5 business days and work toward a reasonable response or alternative.

An Ongoing Practice

Websites change, technologies change, and accessibility work is never completely finished. We will review the site as new pages, media, shop features, and community tools are added.
