The Potting Shed Shop
Beautiful things made for noticing.
At the end of another garden path stands an old potting shed.
Inside are shelves worn smooth with use, botanical labels tied with string, wrapped parcels waiting to travel, and objects gathered or made with care. Nothing is stacked high or calling for attention. There is room to look closely and choose slowly.
The Potting Shed Shop is where a few pieces of the Olive & Edith garden may be carried to a new home: original paintings, art prints, handmade sculptures, botanical and nature-inspired objects, jewelry, bookmarks, paper goods, books, and occasional small collections shaped by the seasons.
Each piece begins somewhere beyond the shop.
It may carry the curve of a garden leaf, the colors of a familiar bloom, the silhouette of a bird at the window, the memory of a tiny neighbor, or a story first preserved in the Garden Archive.
The purpose is not to turn every garden moment into something for sale.
Some things will remain only stories. Some paintings will never become prints. Some discoveries belong exactly where they were found. The pieces offered here are those that seem able to travel without losing their connection to the living world that inspired them.
Recently Brought In From the Garden
Seasonal and newly finished pieces may appear here quietly, without countdowns or manufactured urgency.
There may be only one original, a small edition, or a few handmade pieces. Their number reflects the nature of the work rather than a reason to rush.
Take your time. If something has already found another home, the garden will continue making room for new work in its own season. And a few digital items, made to reach a wider number of friends, guests, or groups.

The Shop is intended to feel like a curated artist’s potting shed, not a crowded marketplace. Every shelf should leave enough room for the object and its story - to be seen.
Wrapped With Care
Orders are prepared as though one garden visitor were sending something meaningful to another.
Whenever possible, packages may include thoughtful wrapping, a handwritten note, a bookmark or small paper keepsake, and protective materials chosen with care. Recycled, reusable, seed-embedded (coming soon), or garden-friendly packaging will be adopted as it becomes practical and responsible - all hopefully soon.
The unwrapping should feel personal, quiet, and worth keeping - an extension of the object rather than a layer of spectacle around it.
Follow the Piece Back to Its Beginning
Many objects offer a path back into Olive & Edith.
Meet the plant or wildlife neighbor that inspired the work. Read its story in the Library. Find its source photograph in the Archive. Watch the painting take shape in the Artist’s Workshop.
The shop is not the end of the garden path. It is one more way the paths remain connected.
