Garden rhythm: Perennial where drainage and winter conditions permit; full sun, excellent drainage, low-to-moderate water.

Garden companions: Blue flowers provide cool-season or early-season nectar for bees.

Worth noticing: More rosemary is lost to wet roots than thirst. Its fragrance lives in the leaves through every season.
